The 2024 MY Carens, which will come with a number of improvements, including a new six-speed manual transmission coupled with a 1.5L U2 diesel engine, was unveiled today by Kia India. With the new addition, there are now 30 trims available in the variant lineup, giving consumers more choices. Furthermore, new features have been added to the X-Line variant.

It adds a seven-seater option and services like controlled by voice window functions and a dashcam. A sunroof, an LED map lamp, and an LED room lamp are among the features of the new Prestige+ (O) variation available in 7DCT and 6AT. In contrast, the Prestige (O) model comes with a leather-wrapped gear knob, LED rear combination lights, LED DRLs, a positioning lighting, and a smart key with push-button start. It also has a choice of six or seven seats.

Certain technologies and equipment are suitable with the updated 2024 Seltos, which were unveiled in India yesterday. Keyless entry, an eight-inch touchscreen, a shark fin antenna, a steering-wheel-mounted remote control, a burglar alarm, and more safety measures are now included with the Premium (O) trim.

Instead of the 120W charger found on prior models, all variations come with a 180W charger. The new Prestige (O) trim level of the updated 2024 Kia Carens, which offers a six-seater option, is priced at Rs. 12,11,900, while the 1.5L diesel MT trim costs Rs. 12,66,900. For the entry-level petrol variant, the revised Carens is priced at Rs. 10,51,900 (ex-showroom).

For the highest version, the price rises up to Rs. 19,66,900 (ex-showroom). The 2024 Kia Carens is offered in the Pewter Olive color scheme, which is also available for the Seltos, with the exception of the X-Line trim. Thus, Kia gives the choice of eight single-tone, three dual-tone and one exclusive X-Line matte grey shading.

“We are excited to introduce the new trims of the Carens,” stated Myung-sik Sohn, Chief Sales and Business Officer, Kia India, in reference to the updated Carens portfolio. Over 1.5 lakh families have chosen the Carens since its launch in 2022 as their personal mobility option because it is luxurious, dependable, and comfortable. We chose to update Carens because we recognized a lot of potential for a six-seating option and realized that more and more families are looking for lavish and comfortable trips, which is changing mobility preferences.
