OnePlus is reportedly preparing to introduce a new addition to its flagship OnePlus 13 lineup—a compact powerhouse dubbed the OnePlus 13 Mini. This device is expected to cater to users who appreciate a smaller form factor without compromising on top-tier performance. The move comes as anticipation builds around OnePlus’s rumored design overhaul set for 2025, a change hinted at by the company’s industrial designer Lao Haoran in a recent Weibo post.

According to leaks, the OnePlus 13 Mini will be driven by Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 8 Elite processor, featuring a seven-core configuration. Notably, this is the same high-performance chipset found in the standard OnePlus 13, reinforcing the Mini variant’s ability to deliver flagship-caliber performance despite its more compact dimensions. With these specifications, the OnePlus 13 Mini is positioned as a direct competitor to premium compact devices like the Samsung Galaxy S25.

On the display front, reports suggest that the OnePlus 13 Mini will sport a 6.31-inch LTPO OLED panel boasting a 1.5K resolution and a fluid 120Hz refresh rate. The screen is expected to feature a flat design with ultra-thin bezels, ensuring a premium visual experience. Security-wise, the device will likely incorporate an optical in-display fingerprint sensor for seamless unlocking.

A shift in design philosophy may also be on the horizon, with leaks indicating that the OnePlus 13 Mini will adopt a refined aesthetic featuring a metal frame and a glass back. This fresh approach could signal a new design language for OnePlus moving forward.

While early leaks pointed to a triple-camera setup, well-known tipster Digital Chat Station now suggests that OnePlus has opted for a dual-camera arrangement instead. The OnePlus 13 Mini is expected to feature a 50MP primary sensor coupled with a 50MP telephoto lens supporting 2x optical zoom. The cameras will reportedly be housed in a distinctive vertical bar-style module, setting it apart visually from competing devices.

Details regarding the battery capacity remain scarce, but reports indicate that wireless charging support will be included.

As for availability, the OnePlus 13 Mini is rumored to launch in China as early as next month. However, there is still no confirmation on whether the device will reach global markets.
