Customers searching for a low-cost smartphone are the target market for Vivo’s new Y36t smartphone. The gadget made its debut on Jingdong, a Chinese e-commerce website.
Vivo Y36t specs:
Space black and sapphire green are the two colour options available for the Y36t’s design. It has a 6.56-inch LCD waterdrop screen that supports a standard 60Hz refresh rate and has a resolution of 1612 x 720 pixels.
The MediaTek Helio G85 processor, which has two cores operating at 2.0GHz and six cores operating at 1.8GHz, powers the Vivo Y36t. It has 128GB of eMMC5.1 storage and 6GB of LPDDR4X RAM. The gadget also has a sizable 5000mAh battery that can be charged quickly—15W.
The phone has two cameras: a 5-megapixel front camera that can recognise faces to unlock the phone and a 13-megapixel primary camera with 4x digital zoom.
The Y36t boasts a 150% loud volume setting, IP54 certification for dust and water resistance, and an OriginOS 4 operating system based on Android 14.
Pricing & availability
Vivo Y36t is initially discounted to 749 yuan ($105) and can be purchased in China through Jingdong. Following the promotional period, the price will be 799 yuan ($112).
