Skoda Auto is capitalizing on the success of the India 2.0 approach. VW India is the one who came up with the India 2.5 plan. To keep the cash registers ringing, the corporation has confirmed that new editions and variants will be released ahead of schedule. With the Taigun small SUV, Volkswagen is introducing two new trim levels under a revised trim plan.
Launch of the VW Taigun GT Plus Sport and GT Line:
Volkswagen India is offering the GT Edge, Chrome, and Sport trim levels. These new trim concepts are a combination of personas and each one represents a distinct design concept. The Edge Collection from GT Edge is available in matte or black exterior colors. Chrome comes with both 1.0L and 1.5L engine options and is available in normal trims.
The Sport trim plan includes the recently released Taigun GT Plus Sport and GT Line trims. There is less variety in powertrain options than with Chrome. GT Line only receives the 1.0L TSI engine, while GT Plus Sport only receives the 1.5L Evo engine. Bookings for the GT Plus Sport and GT Line trims are now open at Volkswagen.
Changes in appearance:
The Volkswagen Taigun GT Plus Sport and Taigun GT Line add excitement and a sporty factor to the mix, but they just have cosmetic changes. While the GT Line receives 16 outside and 13 interior changes, the GT Plus Sport trim receives 19 exterior and 14 interior updates.
Notable alterations Black roof rails, black ORVMs, black DLO, lamellas, and front brake calipers, dark chrome door handles, multiple Red GT logos, smoked headlights, 17-inch Cassino Black alloys, black Taigun lettering, black design strips, dark underbody diffuser, and more are all included with the GT Plus Sport package.
The interior features a glossy black dashboard insert, a black headliner, red ambient lighting, red stitching on the seats, armrests, and steering wheel, aluminum pedals, black leatherette upholstery, and other pieces that have been blackened. The same is true for GT Line, although Crystal Grey stitching is used in place of the red stitching.
Black roof rails and ORVMs, a matte black finish on the B- and C-pillars, black TSI and GT Line emblems, and a lack of red brake calipers are all exterior features of the GT Line. Similar condition of tunes are maintained for the 1.5L Evo engine (148 bhp, 250 Nm, 6MT, 7DSG) with GT Plus Sport and the 1.0L TSI (114 bhp, 178 Nm, 6MT, 6TC).
