Realme is preparing for the much awaited launch of its 12 Pro 5G series in India on January 29, 12 p.m. IST. Realme 12 Pro and Realme 12 Pro+ are the two differences that the series will at least introduce. Key information regarding the smartphones has been progressively revealed by Realme as the launch date approaches near.
The camera system of the Realme 12 Pro 5G family is one of its main features. A 64MP OmniVision OV64B periscope lens with 120x Super Zoom capability is hinted to be part of the portfolio. Realme highlights that as compared to other flagship products, its sensor has a size that is 27.62 percent greater (1/2 inch). A 50MP Sony IMX890 sensor with Optical Image Stabilization (OIS) is also hinted to be included in one of the versions, offering improved image stability.
According to Gadgets 360, the Realme 12 Pro+ might include the Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 chipset, while the Realme 12 Pro is anticipated to be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 SoC. Recent sightings of the Realme 12 Pro+ (RMX3840) on Geekbench revealed that it has the Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 chipset, 12GB of RAM, and an Android 14 operating system.
Realme has also hinted at the series’ color choices, showcasing an elegant blue model and a cream alternative that looks a lot like the Realme 11 Pro+ 5G’s Sunrise Beige version. On its India website, the business has posted appealing camera samples to highlight the potential of the camera.
It is expected that both models would have large 5,000mAh batteries that can be charged quickly with a 67W connected fast charger. Large 6.7-inch curved-edge full-HD+ AMOLED displays with a quick refresh rate of 120Hz are probably going to be seen on the devices. Notably, there may be a third type, the Realme 12 Pro Max, in addition to the Realme 12 Pro and Realme 12 Pro+, which raises the possibility of leaks.
Flipkart will be the exclusive seller of the Realme 12 Pro 5G series, which will be the first of these smartphones to be sold in India.
