The Instagram subscriptions function will now be available to all approved creators in Australia, Brazil, Canada, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, Mexico, Spain, and the United Kingdom, according to a statement from Meta. The functionality will be distributed to the eligible creators in these nations in the next weeks.

“Eligible creators in Australia, Brazil, Canada, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, Mexico, Spain, and the United Kingdom will have access to Subscriptions in the upcoming weeks and be able to begin making money from fan support. In the upcoming months, we intend to keep expanding access globally, Instagram stated in a blog post.

Instagram subscriptions will provide creators the option to charge what they want for access to exclusive posts, Live videos, Stories, reels, highlights, and more for their subscribers.

Instagram said: “You can unlock a “subscription” button on your profile and select a monthly price of your choice.

Additionally, subscribers will receive a badge, which will be shown next to their messages and comments. It will assist creators in locating and giving interaction with them priority.

In January 2022, Meta introduced Instagram subscriptions for the first time in the United States. Instagram creators must be at least 18 years old and have more than 10,000 followers in order to be eligible for memberships. There are currently eight alternatives for the monthly fee, with prices ranging from $0.99 (about Rs 80) to $99.99 (around Rs 8,170).

Instagram membership will enable creators to generate ongoing revenue from their followers and forge closer bonds with them.

Giving subscribers access to unique content and advantages on the same platform where you already interact with them can help you build stronger relationships with your most engaged followers and increase your recurring monthly income, according to Instagram.

In the upcoming months, Meta intends to make Instagram subscriptions accessible to everyone.

In the upcoming months, “We plan to continue rolling out access globally,” the blog stated.

Instagram Threads, meantime, has restricted how many posts users can view each day. The newest action taken by the newly launched platform is being justified by an increase in spam attacks.

Adam Mosseri, the CEO of Instagram, announced the information in a Thread post. In order to prevent the increase in spam attacks, he said that the platform’s rate limit is being decreased. Active platform users will also be impacted by this move.

“Spam attacks have increased, so we’ll need to tighten restrictions on things like rate limits, which will lead to more unintentional restrictions on active people (false positives).” Let us know if you become entangled in such precautions, Adam Mosseri stated in a Thread post.
