China is scheduled to receive the Realme GT 7 in April. A 3nm MediaTek Dimensity 9400+ chipset has been verified to power the smartphone. Featuring a Snapdragon 8 Elite SoC and a 6,500mAh battery with compatibility for 120W wired fast charging, the Realme GT 7 Pro was released in November 2024.

Battery, Charging Details

Realme Vice President Xu Qi Chase revealed that the Realme GT 7 will have a 7,000mAh battery that supports 100W wired fast charging.

Notably, a Realme phone with the model number RMX6688—presumably the regular Realme GT 7—was purportedly seen on the 3C certification website in China. The phone is expected to feature 100W wired fast charging, according to the listing.

A 5,800mAh battery with 120W wired fast charging was included in the previous Realme GT 6. It weights 206g and has a profile thickness of 8.43mm.

Sleek Design, 144Hz Display

The Realme GT 7 is anticipated to weigh less than 205g and have a thickness of less than 8.3mm.

The Realme GT 7 is probably going to have a flat, customized BOE panel with 144 Hz refresh rate, thin bezels, and eye protection. It is expected to have a plastic central frame and be built with an IP69 dust and water resistance rating. For biometric authentication, an ultrasonic fingerprint sensor is anticipated to be included in the phone.

Realme GT 7 to Feature MediaTek Dimensity 9400+

Xu Qi, the vice president of Realme, emphasized how 3nm technology may improve smartphone performance. Based on TSMC’s 3nm process, the new Dimensity 9400+ chip provides better power management and thermal efficiency. It is MediaTek’s highest-frequency processor to date, with a potent CPU configuration and top speeds of 3.73GHz, earning over 3 million on AnTuTu benchmarks.

Specification and Price

The Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset-equipped GT 6 from the previous year will be replaced by the Realme GT 7. The announcement from Realme states that the new gadget will debut in China in April.
