One of the most eagerly awaited smartphones, the Poco M6 Pro 5G, will launch on Flipkart in India on August 5 at noon. Himanshu Tandon, the head of Poco India, had tweeted about the date announcement before this happened. Additionally, the M-series home page is active on the e-commerce platform and highlights some of the important specs, such as the cyan color option and a camera module that is identical to the Poco M5’s predecessor, which was unveiled last year.

According to rumors, the forthcoming M6 Pro 5G would have a sizable 6.79-inch LCD screen with a variable refresh rate panel running at 90 Hz. The recently introduced Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 SoC with up to 8GB of RAM and 256GB storage is rumored to be the device’s power source. A 5,000mAh battery with 18W rapid charging is supposed to power the smartphone. It will come pre-installed with the MIUI 14 skin, which is based on Android 13.
Speaking of optics, the smartphone will include a dual camera arrangement with a primary camera that is anticipated to be 50 MP and a secondary camera that is likely to be 2 MP. The smartphone is expected to have a 5 MP front camera with a punch-hole cutout for selfies and video chats.
