Oppo is scheduled to release the smartphones from the Reno 12 series tomorrow, June 18. At least three phones—the Reno 12, Reno 12 Pro, and Reno 12 FS 5G—will be available in the lineup. The latter was fully disclosed earlier this week in a leak, along with its cost.
Thanks to the website SpillSomeBeans, the pricing for the Reno 12 and Reno 12 Pro have now also been made public.
Thus, the entry-level Reno 12 5G with 512GB of storage and a single 12GB RAM version will retail for EUR 499.99 in Europe. Astro Silver and Black Brown are the available colour options.
However, the same 12GB RAM and 512GB storage option would set you back EUR 599.99 for the Reno 12 Pro 5G. Nebula Silver and Nebula Black are the colours that Oppo will offer for this gadget.
Oppo Reno 12 and Reno 12 Pro Specifications
Nearly all of the information regarding the Reno 12 phones has already been made public. A 6.8-inch 3D curved AMOLED screen with a refresh rate of 120 Hz, a 10-bit colour depth, and Corning Gorilla Glass protection will be included in the basic model.
The processor that powers it will be the modified Dimensity 7300 Energy chipset, which is probably going to have a faster clock speed than the original Dimensity 7300. This will be used in conjunction with UFS 3.1 storage and LPDDR5 RAM.
The camera arrangement consists of a 32MP front sensor, an 8MP ultrawide lens, a 2MP macro sensor, and a 50MP Sony LYT600 primary sensor with OIS on the back. A 5000mAh cell with 80W SuperVOOC charging will power the device.
The Pro model’s camera configuration will be comparable to the Reno 12’s, with the exception of a 50MP ISOCELL JN5 telephoto lens in place of the macro sensor. The Pro model will also share the same processor, battery, and charging capabilities. Along with other features that are similar to the normal Reno 12, the front will include a 6.7-inch curved AMOLED panel protected by Gorilla Glass Victus 2.
