Motorola has announced the release of the Moto G14, adding to its already expansive lineup of low-cost smartphones. The Redmi Note 12 and Oppo A78, two additional low-cost smartphones that launched today and are all competing for the same market share as this one, were also announced at the same time as the smartphone. Motorola currently offers a number of affordable models, like the Moto E13 and Moto E32. The G13’s successor, the Moto G14, debuted in January of this year. Days before to debut, Flipkart had previously teased the majority of the device’s details, and they are now official.

According to Motorola Asia Pacific Executive Director Prashanth Mani, at the unveiling, “Staying true to this promise, the moto g14 comes with a segment-leading, premium design and an exceptionally immersive entertainment experience.”

Features and characteristics of the Moto G14

The Moto G14 has dual speakers that can support Dolby Atmos and a 6.5-inch FHD+ display with a refresh rate of 60Hz. The phone is built of acrylic glass (PMMA), weighs 177g, and is 7.99mm thick.

The UNISOC T616 Octa-Core Processor, which is combined with 4GB LPDDR4X RAM, powers the smartphone. It comes with 128 GB of extendable UFS 2.2 storage with a 1TB maximum capacity. The phone currently uses Android 13, however an upgrade to Android 14 is guaranteed. Motorola has also committed to providing security upgrades for up to three years.

The Moto G14 has two cameras, one with a 50 MP primary sensor and the other with a 2 MP macro vision camera. According to Motorola, the Quad Pixel technology provides consumers with four times more low light sensitivity for taking sharper pictures.

Additionally, it sports a hole-punch cutout for the 8 MP selfie camera on the front. The Moto G14 comes with a 5000mAh battery with 20W Turbo Power charging capabilities. The Moto G14 also has IP52 protection, a fingerprint sensor located on the side, facial recognition, dual SIM compatibility, Motorola gestures, and dual-band Wi-Fi.

The cost and availability of the Moto G14

Pre-orders for the Moto G14 began at 12 PM exclusively on Flipkart, with the phone’s launch price of Rs. 9999. Buyers can receive free screen damage protection worth Rs. 3200 and an immediate discount of Rs. 750 on ICICI Bank Cards as part of the pre-order promotions.

On August 8 starting at 12 PM, Flipkart, Motorola.in, and other top retailers will be selling the Moto G14 in two color options: Sky Blue and Steel Grey.
