On April 29, 2024, Mahindra is scheduled to present the XUV3XO, which will be the vehicle’s first fiscal year release and the biggest improvement to the XUV300 since its 2018 launch. The XUV3XO, the replacement for the XUV300, is generating interest because to multiple leaks and spy photos revealing details about its external and internal improvements. According to engine specs, there are three available engines: petrol, diesel, and a planned electrified version.
Updates to the Interior and Exterior:
Keeping in the sub-4 meter segment, the XUV3XO boasts revised headlamp clusters, LED DRLs, connected LED tail lamps, a shark fin antenna, an integrated roof spoiler, and an updated front grille with chrome elements, all of which are exterior enhancements influenced by Mahindra’s BE series. Inside are new seats with perforated leatherette upholstery, a revised dashboard, and a revolutionary panoramic sunroof that replaces the previous model’s single glass.
First-in-Segment Features: Hinted at with a panoramic sunroof:
In order to compete with rivals such as the Hyundai Venue, Maruti Brezza, Kia Sonet, and Nissan Magnite, the XUV3XO is introducing various segment-first innovations that are setting new standards in its class. The upgraded Harman Kardon music system with seven speakers and ambient sound modes, the 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system with wireless smartphone connectivity, the 10.25-inch fully digital instrument cluster, the dual-zone climate control, the rear AC vents, and the Type-C USB outlets are among the interesting additions.
Improved Safety Measures:
With seven airbags, a 360-degree camera, electronic stability control, a rearview camera with parking sensors, and a Level 2 ADAS package with 10 driver aid safety technologies, the XUV3XO is expected to receive a 5-star Bharat NCAP rating.
Transmission and Engine of Mahindra XUV3XOv:
The XUV3XO’s powertrains are carried over from its XUV300 predecessor. It comes with three options: a 1.5-liter diesel engine that can produce 117 horsepower and 300 Nm of torque; a 1.2-liter T-GDI turbo petrol engine that can produce 130 horsepower and 250 Nm of torque; and a 1.2-liter turbo petrol engine that can produce 110 horsepower and 200 Nm of torque. Six-speed AMT automatic gearbox or six-speed manual transmission are available as options.
In the sub-4m SUV class, the XUV3XO is expected to be priced between Rs. 9 lakh and Rs. 15 lakh (ex-showroom). Its competitors include the Nissan Magnite, Kia Sonet, Hyundai Venue, Maruti Brezza, and Maruti Fronx. View the computer-generated renders of the new XUV 3XO below.
