In a special conversation with Pinkvilla, Vikrant Massey discusses whether a movie’s box office performance influences the release of its sequel.

At the box office, Vidhu Vinod Chopra’s 12th Fail turned out to be a Super Hit, and its popularity jumped upon the film’s OTT distribution. After 25 weeks, the much loved movie with Medha Shankr and Vikrant Massey in the key roles is finally over.

In an exclusive interview with Pinkvilla, Vikrant and Medha revealed amazing information about the film’s production. The on-screen duo also talked about their collaborations with VVC.

Vikrant provided an intriguing response when asked about the enormous success of 12th Fail and whether the box office performance of his previous movies had ever impacted the prospects of his future picture.

Vikrant Massey on the importance of box office revenues in getting the next movie:

In response to the question of whether his last movie’s box office performance would affect the probability of his next one, Vikrant Massey stated, “That’s not how it is, at least not for me. I recently tasted success at the box office. Since that was not the situation six months ago, I have continued to do a lot of what I have been doing, and I hope to continue doing so in the future.”

The fact that people are spending their hard-earned money to see you in theaters is wonderful and should serve as motivation for you to improve yourself. Is it going to control my decisions going forward? I don’t think so, in my opinion. “My approach to selecting scripts and performing in front of the camera during action and deleted scenes is essentially unchanged.” He went on.
