The Haryana Steelers won their first Pro Kabaddi League title after defeating the Patna Pirates 32–23.

On Sunday, the Haryana Steelers overcame the Patna Pirates in the final to win their first-ever Pro Kabaddi League championship.

Shivam Patare scored nine points, Mohammadreza Shadloui scored seven, and Vinay added six more to help the Steelers win 32–23. The Pirates, the runners-up, received Rs 1.8 crore, while the winners received Rs 3 crore.

Early in the game, Patare and Shadloui dictated terms for the eventual champions, giving the Steelers the lead and the first few points.

The Patna Pirates found it very difficult to score against the Steelers’ defence, which was led by Jaideep and Rahul Sethpal. However, as the half went on, Gurdeep and Sudhakar pulled the Pirates back within striking distance of their rivals.

After Devank and Ayan levelled the playing field, Patare and Vinay put the Haryana Steelers in the box seat, and the runners-up from Season 10 kept improving. The Haryana Steelers had a 15–12 lead at the half.

The Pirates took the lead through Sudhakar as the second half got off to a slower start than the first.

But Jaideep and Shadloui scored vital points to keep the Steelers in the running for their first championship, and they eventually led by three points near the half.

After turning the tables on their opponents, the Steelers were given the game’s first ALL OUT. The Haryana Steelers jumped out to a 9-point advantage, and Shadloui was in his element.
