This year’s Samsung Galaxy S23 series was introduced in February. The Galaxy S24 series, which could debut early next year, is said to be the South Korean tech giant’s replacement and has apparently already begun development. Models including the base Galaxy S24, Galaxy S24+, and Galaxy S24 Ultra are expected to be part of the models. The specifications and the design of the devices have been hinted at in a number of leaks and rumors. The Galaxy S24 Ultra’s CAD images have recently leaked online, revealing important design information.
The claimed smartphone’s leaked CAD renders have been disclosed by SmartPrix and tipper OnLeaks. The premium model of Samsung’s upcoming flagship series is expected to look a lot like its Galaxy S23 Ultra (review) predecessor. The Galaxy S24 Ultra has a quad-camera arrangement for optics, as suggested by the renders, which includes numerous sensors. It has been shown that the Stylus pen will receive the same special holster as its predecessor.
The possibility of a 6.8-inch display on the smartphone has already been raised in earlier publications. According to the most recent renderings, the model will have the thinnest bezels on any smartphone to date as a result of a considerable reduction in bezel size. According to reports, it has a WQHD+ resolution display. Additionally, the right edge of the Galaxy S24 Ultra might house an ultra-wideband antenna.
According to reports, the upcoming smartphone would measure about 162.3 x 79 x 8.7mm and weigh about 23g. The Galaxy S24 Ultra is reportedly constructed of titanium, making it lighter than Apple’s iPhone 15 series. It could include a 5,000mAh battery that supports 45W fast charging in terms of battery capacity.
The report also states that a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC may be used to power the Galaxy S24 Ultra. A 200-megapixel primary back camera is expected. The phone might have a 12-megapixel front camera for taking selfies. It should be noted that Samsung has not yet shown the next series.
