The movie helmed by Sukumar, was unstoppable the moment its first look was dropped. It seemed as if there is no stopping Pushpa’s surge in the hearts of the audience. The movie may have released more than a year ago but the Allu Arjun starrer continues to set new highs in popularity. Sukumar’ magnum opus Pushpa: The Rise has achieved yet another record by becoming the first ever album in India to hit 5 billion views.
The makers of Pushpa confirmed the same by sharing a new poster on official Twitter handle, “”The Biggest Ever Feat In Indian Cinema” Icon Star @alluarjun’s #PushpaTheRise is the First Album to hit 5 BILLION VIEWS”. From the song ‘Sammi Sammi’ to ‘Eyy Bidda Idhi Naa Adda’, the music lovers grooved to the lyrics.
‘Oo Antava Ooo Antava’ that featured Samantha Ruth Prabhu and Allu Arjun went on to became the biggest party anthem of the year. The movie also broke several box office records, entered the Rs 100 cr mark in Hindi belts, and went on to earn Rs 300cr worldwide.
