An entrepreneur is someone who sets up a business, taking on most of the risks. The reason why entrepreneurs aren’t afraid to take risks is that they’re motivated. Besides, entrepreneurs have their sight focused on the rewards and energies invested in the process. Branding expert Sherri Nourse’sMotivationMafia (@motivationmafia) fuels this thriving spirit of entrepreneurs by providing them with a daily dose of encouragement, support, and educational content. Nourse shares how MotivationMafia is helping see the entrepreneur community through even the most challenging times.

Motivation – a salient ingredient for business success

The coronavirus-triggered epidemic has spread enough gloom among business owners. @motivationmafia is an educational hub that entrepreneurs and business people can lean on for much-needed motivation that forges clarity and effective decision-making. There are two kinds of motorbikes. One operates on a push-start mechanism. Another on self-start. @motivationmafia puts entrepreneurs and business folks on a self-start mode to set their businesses on a progress path no matter what the circumstances may be. Nourse shares, “Whether our followers are starting a business, growing a business or needing the motivation to set their ideas in motion–@motivationmafia is the place. I interview interesting individuals and discuss all aspects of entrepreneurship through the interviews, motivational speaking, and education.” It’s a community of 2 million followers truly rooted in positivity and ‘let’s-make-this-world-a-better-place’ spirit. It’s not just a source of motivation but also a hub for the necessary resources to help not just entrepreneurs but anyone to enhance their lives and businesses.

For the entrepreneurs by the entrepreneurs

For entrepreneurs, budding or established, using social media platforms to maximize their reach is paramount. It’s because their ‘customers’ are there. Interestingly, but not surprisingly, Nourse founded this platform on this particular insight. She explains, “The company I run currently is a social media marketing firm called Ambition Media, and my IG platform is @motivationmafia. I fell into social media because we had an FDA product for which we hired a very high-level PR firm to represent in New York. We got results—the front page of the WSJ health section, but our retail sales did not skyrocket. We realized that everyone is on social media when buying products and finding out about products. So I dove into it headlong and built a presence which ultimately turned into @motivationmafia and my social media company.”

@motivationmafia is positioned thoughtfully on Instagram. Its page endeavors daily to fuel the entrepreneurial drive and feed users’ souls with inspirational hues of optimism. Their posts are tailored and designed to foster hope and a ‘success mindset’ within the context of every follower’s unique paradigm. Nourse perfectly sums it up, “Instagram is more than an online social media networking arena and a way to share photos and videos. It has become our way of life for communication, business, and relationships. Our goal is to provide motivation, positivity, and encouragement – one post at a time.”
