What made you decide to help other entrepreneurs?
During a family vacation, I was relaxing on the beach when I decided to write down 80 lessons I wished someone would’ve taught me before I started my own business. I realized there was so much I’d learned on my own and that it could really help other entrepreneurs get ahead. These lessons ended up being the basis of my first book, 8 Unbreakable Rules for Business Startup Success.
What was a major challenge you had to overcome to get to where you are today?
I suffered a back injury. Doctors prescribed me a large amount of oxycodone and fentanyl to cope with the pain, which is incredibly easy to get addicted to. I was determined to not get caught in that trap, so I quit cold turkey. I truly believe that you can accomplish anything with the right mindset.
What are you most looking forward to?
I hope that my books, courses and events can continue to inspire success for other entrepreneurs.
