The Oppo Reno 12 series is expected to launch officially on May 23. On Weibo, the Chinese tech company is releasing design teasers for the device. Additional renders of the Oppo Reno 12 range have surfaced online, just one week before the device’s formal launch. They display the Oppo Reno 12 and Oppo Reno 12 Pro in three different colour variants and from various angles. The three rear cameras and hole-punch screens on both phones are the same design features.
Three colour possibilities for the phones are shown in the renders. It looks that the regular model comes in silver, pink, and black colorways. Shades of black, pink, and purple are displayed for the Pro model.
The pink colour of the Oppo Reno 12 seems to be gradient, however the pink colour of the Reno 12 Pro appears to have a matte texture. Although their finishes differ somewhat, they have an almost identical appearance. The phones have triple rear camera modules, narrow bezels, slightly curved corners, and hole-punch screens. The words “AI Camera System” are inscribed on the sizable rectangular camera module.
Oppo had earlier this week stated that on May 23 at 4 p.m. local time (1:30 p.m. IST), the Reno 12 series would make its debut in China. The phones will have three cameras: an 8-megapixel ultra wide-angle sensor, a 50-megapixel telephoto sensor with a 2x optical zoom, and a 50-megapixel Sony IMX890 primary camera, according to previous reports. There are rumours that they will include a 50-megapixel selfie camera.
For the Oppo Reno 12, a MediaTek Dimensity 8250 SoC might be used. There are information that the MediaTek Dimensity 9200+ chipset powers the Oppo Reno 12 Pro version. A 6.7-inch, 120Hz, 1.5K display and a 5,000mAh battery with 80W wired fast charging capability are anticipated for the Pro variant.
