On Monday, the Oppo K12x 5G was introduced in India. A MediaTek Dimensity 6300 CPU with up to 8GB of RAM powers the device. It is stated that the phone is the first in its class to have a military-grade MIL-STD-810H certification, indicating that its body is made of 360 degrees of damage-proof armour. Additionally, it is compatible with Splash Touch, which enables wet hands to use the phone. The phone has a 7.68mm thin construction and is IP54 rated as well.

The 6GB + 128GB version of the Oppo K12x 5G costs Rs. 12,999 in India, while the 8GB + 256GB version costs Rs. 15,999. The phone will go on sale on August 2 through Flipkart and the Oppo India online shop.

Oppo would provide customers with a free three-month extended-interest option and an instant rebate of Rs. 1,000 on transactions made through specific banks. These deals are only available through August 2. Breeze Blue and Midnight Violet are the two colour options available for the handset.

The Oppo K12x 5G features a 6.67-inch HD+ (1,604 x 720 pixels) LCD screen with dual-reinforced Panda Glass protection, a refresh rate of 120Hz, and a maximum brightness level of 1,000nits. Additionally, Splash Touch technology—which supposedly enables consumers to use phones even with wet hands—is supported. The phone has a 6nm MediaTek Dimensity 6300 chipset, which can support up to 256GB of UFS 2.2 internal storage and up to 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM. Android 14-based ColorOS 14 is pre-installed on it.
