After OnePlus initially announced the device a few weeks back, the device has finally been officially launched. Anticipatedly, the successor to the Nord CE 3 with a Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 chipset is positioned underneath the latest Ace 3V. OnePlus has added 8 GB of RAM and a 5,500 mAh battery that enables 100 W cable charging to go along with the mid-range CPU.
Additionally, the Nord CE 4 is available with microSD card expansion with storage capacities of 128 GB or 256 GB. On top of that, OnePlus adds a 6.7-inch OLED display that outputs not only 1080p but also 120 Hz and 1,100 nits (900 nits HBM). Moreover, the Nord CE 4 finds itself with a Sony LYT600 as its primary camera, which shoots photos at 50 MP with a 1/1.95-inch optical format. OnePlus also added 16 MP and 8 MP ultra-wide angle front-facing cameras to the gadget.
Predictably, OxygenOS 14, which is based on Android 14, will be shipped with the Nord CE 4 by OnePlus. Regrettably, the manufacturer has only promised to provide three years of security patch updates and two major Android OS updates. Therefore, as of Android 16, support for OS updates for the Nord CE 4 will end, even though security fixes will continue to be released for it until early 2027. On April 4 at 12:00 IST (06:30 UTC), the Nord CE 4 will be available for purchase in India. Pre-orders will receive a complementary pair of Nord Buds 2r.
