In the second fan returns of NBA All-Star Voting 2025 presented by AT&T, Giannis Antetokounmpo of the Milwaukee Bucks and Nikola Jokić of the Denver Nuggets continue to top the Eastern and Western Conferences, respectively.
The leaders in their respective position groups are still Antetokounmpo (East frontcourt), Jokić (West frontcourt), Shai Gilgeous-Alexander (West guard) of the Oklahoma City Thunder, and LaMelo Ball (East guard) of the Charlotte Hornets. Stephen Curry of the Golden State Warriors is now ranked second among guards in the West.
Half of the votes cast to choose the starters for the 2025 NBA All-Star Game are cast by fans who have NBA IDs. A media panel and current NBA players make up 25% of the total.
The top ten vote-getters in the second fan returns per position group are listed below.
The next “3-for-1 Day” is tomorrow, Friday, January 10, when every vote cast by NBA ID members will be counted three times. Voting will end on Monday, January 20 at 11:59 p.m. ET, and the next fan voting update will be released on Thursday, January 16.
The NBA All-Star Game starters will be announced by TNT at 7 p.m. ET on Thursday, January 23.
NBA All-Star Voting
Fans can vote for the NBA All-Star Game starters using their NBA ID on the NBA App and NBA.com during the NBA All-Star Voting, which is presented by AT&T, the NBA’s Official 5G Wireless Network, and begins on Thursday, December 19 at 10 a.m. ET and ends on Monday, January 20 at 11:59 p.m. ET.
Joining NBA ID, which provides fans with perks and prizes from the league and its partners, is free. The NBA ID All-Star Voting Sweepstakes, sponsored by AT&T, will automatically enrol US voters for the chance to win a trip to the San Francisco Bay Area for NBA All-Star 2025.
NBA ID holders are permitted to cast one complete ballot each day throughout the voting period through the NBA App and the NBA.com voting page (NBA.com/vote). Three frontcourt players and two guards from the Eastern and Western conferences make up a complete ballot. Every active NBA player will be up for grabs.
The votes of NBA ID members will be counted three times over six unique “3-for-1 Days.” These days will be Saturday, December 21, Wednesday, December 25, Friday, January 3, Friday, January 10, Friday, January 17, and Monday, January 20 (the last day of voting), from 12:01 a.m. ET to 11:59 p.m. ET.
On January 2, 9, and 16, the first three Thursdays of the month, fan voting updates will be released. On Thursday, January 23, TNT will announce the NBA All-Star Game starters, and on Thursday, January 30, the reserves.
The NBA All-Star Game starters will still be chosen by fans, current NBA players, and a panel of media. During the voting session, each player and member of the media will have the opportunity to fill out one complete ballot.
Players in each conference will be rated by position (guard and frontcourt) within each of the three voting groups—fan, player, and media—once all votes for NBA All-Star Game starters have been counted. The weighted rank of each player’s fan, player, and media votes will be averaged to determine their score. Each conference’s top three frontcourt players and two guards will be selected as starters for the NBA All-Star Game. If two players in a position group have the same score, fan voting will be used to break the tie.
