JSW MG Motor is getting ready to introduce its upcoming vehicle in India. On September 11, the manufacturer is set to introduce the MG Windsor EV to the Indian market. Following the ZS EV and Comet EV, this would be the OEM’s third electric vehicle in India. The Wuling Cloud EV, rebadged as the MG Windsor EV, will be positioned between its two battery-electric brothers that are currently available for purchase in India upon launch.

In the meantime, JSW MG Motor has unveiled the Windsor EV’s alloy wheel design. The MG Windsor EV’s top model will come with 18-inch alloy wheels that have a diamond-cut pattern. A 215/55 R18 tyre is what you should expect for the next electric vehicle. When it launches, the MG Windsor EV will go up against the BYD e6 and the newly released Tata Curvv EV.

Over the past few weeks, the British automaker has been teasing the Windsor EV with brief teaser photos and has also shown the car’s shape. This style has been named the AeroGlide stylistic language by MG. According to what the carmaker has disclosed thus far, the Windsor’s 135 degree reclining rear seats will replicate the business class cabin of an airliner, providing passengers with a lounge-like experience. One of the main features within the cabin will be a large 15-inch free-standing touchscreen entertainment system. MG OS will power the touchscreen infotainment system, which will include numerous connectivity possibilities.

MG Windsor EV: Powertrain

The Wuling Cloud EV comes with two different battery pack configurations that are available worldwide. Anticipate the Windsor EV to arrive in the Indian market with the larger 50.6 kWh battery pack. With this, the automobile would be able to go 460 km on a single charge and be equipped with a quick charging capability.
