Maruti Suzuki is preparing to introduce the e Vitara, its first electric vehicle (EV), in India.

Interior Features

Only the middle console is visible when examining the teaser closely. Two square cupholders and a rotary drive selector knob are spotted inside the e Vitara. The buttons for the electronic parking brake and auto hold are located behind the drive selector. Additionally, there are four buttons on either side of the drive selector: drive mode, snow mode, and single-pedal driving.

Along with interior features, the vehicle will have a panoramic sunroof, vertically stacked central air conditioning vents, and hill climb and descent control capabilities.

External Elements

The e-Vitara will have Y-shaped LED DRLs and taillamps, which are comparable to the global-spec model, according to the car’s teaser. Additionally, it has a shark-fin antenna, new dual-tone alloy wheels, a rear wiper and washer, an integrated spoiler and an e Vitara logo on the tailboard.

Battery Pack

The brand has not yet disclosed the battery pack, but it is anticipated that the vehicle would have a single electric engine and 61kWh and 49kWh battery packs.

It is anticipated that the starting price will be around Rs 20 lakh. More details on the Maruti Suzuki e Vitara will be made public when the 2025 Bharat Mobility Global Expo debut draws near. It immediately competes with the future Hyundai Creta Electric, MG ZS EV, Mahindra BE 6, and Tata Curvv EV and is one of the most anticipated vehicles to debut in India.
