Maruti E-Vitara: Upcoming Electric Car Launching in 2025

Maruti Suzuki is getting ready to introduce the Maruti E-Vitara, its first electric vehicle, in India shortly. In November 2024, the electric vehicle had its debut in Italy, and in January 2025, it made its debut in India at the Bharat Mobility Global Auto Expo.
Launch and Price
In 2025, Maruti Suzuki plans to introduce the e Vitara electric vehicle with a competitive pricing approach. The EV is anticipated to cost between ₹16 lakh and ₹21 lakh.
Advanced Features
Anti-lock braking system (ABS), multiple airbags, seat belt alert, 360-degree camera, parking sensors, digital instrument cluster, touchscreen infotainment system, and Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility are just a few of the safety features that make parking easier.
Design
The 2023 Auto Expo saw the unveiling of the Maruti Suzuki eVX concept, which served as the model for the Maruti Suzuki e Vitara. The e Vitara has front fog lamps, LED projector headlamps, and a Y-shaped LED DRL. Since it is an electric vehicle, a traditional radiator grille is not required.
Black cladding is present on the side profile. 18-inch aerodynamic alloy wheels are fitted to it. The three-piece LED taillight and black bumper are connected by a glossy black strip as you approach the rear.
Strong Performance
The performance of this electric four-wheeler is also going to be a lot of fun. There are two battery pack types available from the company: 61 kWh and 49 kWh. These robust battery packs will facilitate fast charging and have a strong electric motor.
Interior and Cabin
The Maruti Suzuki e Vitara’s interior features a dual-spoke steering wheel and a dashboard with two screens. The dual-screen setup combines a 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster with a 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment system.
Rectangular AC vents, an automatic parking brake, a wireless phone charger, semi-leatherette seat upholstery, and auto-dimming IRVM are some of the additional design elements and amenities included in the e Vitara’s cabin. It also features ventilated front seats, a 10-way adjustable driver’s seat, and a panoramic sunroof. Additionally, it will come with ADAS, a 360-degree surround vision camera, and seven airbags as standard.
Battery
The two battery packs will have different power outputs and can travel more than 500 kilometers between charges. Up to 70 kW DC fast charging and 7 kW AC charging will both be supported by the e Vitara.
The electric motor installed on the front axle and the 49 kWh battery pack ensure a maximum power output of 142 horsepower and a maximum torque of 192.2 Nm. The 61 kWh battery pack promises to produce a maximum power output of 171 horsepower and a maximum torque of 192.5 Nm.
