The OnePlus Pad, which debuted globally in February 2023 and arrived in India in April of the same year, is anticipated to be replaced by it. It is expected that the OnePlus Pad 2 would have more features than the previous model.
The OnePlus Pad 2 is predicted to arrive in the second half of 2024, or some time between July and December of this year, according to tipster Max Jambor (@MaxJmb), who made this claim in a post on X (previously Twitter). Other information about the rumored tablet was not disclosed by the whistleblower.
The 8GB + 128GB model of the OnePlus Pad costs Rs. 37,999 when it launches in India, while the 12GB + 256GB model costs Rs. 39,999. There is just one shade of Halo Green available for the tablet.
The 11.61-inch display on the OnePlus Pad has the following specifications: resolution of 2,800 x 2,000 pixels, refresh rate of 144 Hz, aspect ratio of 7:5, peak brightness level of 500 nits, and screen-to-body ratio of 88 percent. A MediaTek Dimensity 9000 SoC with up to 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM and up to 256GB of UFS 3.1 internal storage drives the tablet. OxygenOS 13.1 based on Android 13 is preinstalled on it.
The OnePlus Pad has an 8-megapixel selfie camera in addition to a single 13-megapixel back camera sensor. A 9,510mAh battery that supports 67W wired SuperVOOC fast charging powers the tablet. It weighs 552g and is 258 x 189.4 x 6.5 mm in size.
Meanwhile, the firm introduced the OnePlus Pad Go in India in October 2023, with a price tag of Rs. 19,999 for the Wi-Fi-only variant’s 8GB + 128GB version. There is a Twin Mint colorway available. The MediaTek Helio G99 SoC, an 8,000mAh battery with 33W SuperVOOC charging support, an 8-megapixel rear camera, an 8-megapixel in the front camera, and an 11.35-inch 2.4K LCD screen are all included with this tablet.
