Before making an immense debut in India on March 6, when it will be accompanied by the Realme 12 5G, the Realme 12 Plus 5G has officially broken cover in Indonesia and Malaysia. While the complete specifications of the Realme 12 Plus are still unknown as of this writing, both smartphones are available for pre-order in India as of today.
As the name suggests, the Realme 12 Plus is a scaled-down version of the Realme 12 Pro family of smartphones. The Realme 12 Plus, which comes with a watch dial-style camera assembly housing three sensors-a 50-megapixel Sony LYT-600 behind an f/1.88 lens 26mm equivalent lens with OIS and 2x in-sensor zoom, an 8-megapixel f/2.2 ultrawide, and an additional 2MP macro-is fortunate to have Realme maintaining its design consistency. It is also available in beige and green.
A 6.7-inch 120Hz AMOLED display with 1080p resolution and rainwater smart touch (similar to OnePlus’s aqua touch) is located on the front. A 16-megapixel selfie camera fits in the hole punch cutout in the center. A MediaTek Dimensity 7050 chipset with 8GB of RAM and up to 256GB of storage drives the Realme 12 Plus. Android 14-based Realme UI 5.0 is in control. The 5,000mAh battery has a maximum charging power of 67W.
The Realme 12 5G’s complete specifications are unknown, although the company has stated that the phone will have a 108-megapixel primary camera. We expect more information.
India pre-orders for the Realme 12 series 5G:
Pre-orders for the Realme 12 and Realme 12 Plus are now being accepted in India by Realme online, Flipkart, and offline stores. The offer is valid through March 5. Additionally, the first selling date has been declared. On March 6, 2024, at 3 PM, the day of the launch, the Realme 12 series will go on sale.
