Hero MotoCorp is gearing up to introduce the all-new Destini 125 in India within the next few weeks, following its debut a few months ago. Originally launched in late 2018, the Destini 125 quickly became a favorite among Indian consumers. This upcoming version marks the scooter’s first major update, promising significant enhancements.
The revamped Hero Destini 125 boasts redesigned body panels, giving it a more sophisticated and modern aesthetic. The addition of dual-spoke black alloy wheels adds a sporty edge to its overall design, while unique copper accents on the side mirrors, tail lamps, and bodywork provide a distinct touch. To enhance comfort, the scooter now includes a pillion backrest, ensuring a more relaxed riding experience for passengers.
The turn indicators have been updated with sleek LED units, replacing the triangular halogen indicators from the earlier model. Additionally, the new H-shaped LED Daytime Running Lights and redesigned headlamps contribute to the scooter’s contemporary appearance. A 124.6 cc single-cylinder air-cooled engine that can produce up to 9 PS and 10.4 Nm of peak torque powers the revised Destini 125.
Available in three variants—VX, ZX, and ZX+ the 2025 Hero Destini 125 comes packed with advanced features. Expected to start at an ex-showroom price of around Rs. 89,000, it will compete with rivals like the Honda Activa 125, Suzuki Access 125, and TVS Jupiter 125.
The ZX and ZX+ trims stand out with an LCD instrument cluster that offers Bluetooth connectivity, turn-by-turn navigation, and other conveniences. They also feature 12-inch alloy wheels with diamond cuts, a boot lamp, a pillion backrest, an external fuel filler cap, a backlit starter switch, and USB charging. The VX variant, however, is equipped with a simpler semi-digital instrument console.
Braking performance is enhanced by a front disc brake in the ZX and ZX+ models, while all variants benefit from a new frame design. With a longer wheelbase of 1,302 mm—57 mm more than the outgoing version—the revamped Destini 125 offers improved stability and a more refined riding experience.
