In India, the Google Pixel 9a will retail for Rs. 49,999 and come in one model with 8GB + 256GB RAM and storage.
New Look
The Pixel 9a boasts an improved 6.3-inch Actua display, a slim, flat profile, and rounded edges for a modern appearance.1 With a brightness of 35% higher than the Pixel 8a at 2700 nits, it’s the brightest display on an A-series ever. It also has a 120 Hz adaptive refresh rate for a more fluid and colourful experience.
Peony and the brand-new Iris are the two exciting colour options. Additionally, it comes in porcelain and obsidian.
Features
The Pixel 9a, Google’s low-cost flagship phone, has been released with some new features and improved specs. The tech giant removed its iconic camera bar from the smartphone this year, making a minor design adjustment. With an IP68 classification for protection to dust and water, the smartphone has grown more robust. The Pixel 9a is 35% brighter than the Pixel 8a thanks to its larger 6.3-inch Actua pOLED display, which has a refresh rate of 120 Hz and a maximum brightness of 2700 nits. The Titan M2 security chip and Google Tensor G4 chipset power the smartphone.
5G, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth 5.3, NFC, GPS, NavIC, and a USB 3.2 Type-C port are among the connectivity features available in the Pixel 9a. It has two microphones and dual speakers. An accelerometer, gyroscope, magnetometer, barometer, ambient light sensor, and proximity sensor are all included in the device.

Battery
The Pixel 9a has a 5,100mAh battery that can be charged wirelessly (Qi) at 7.5W and rapidly at 23W using Google’s 45W power adapter. According to Google, the phone’s battery lasts up to 100 hours when Extreme Battery Saver mode is on and more than 30 hours on a single charge. Both software-based Face Unlock and an in-display fingerprint scanner are available for biometric authentication. It weighs 185.9g and has dimensions of 154.7×73.3×8.9mm.

The back camera has a 5x digital zoom and can shoot at up to 4K/60 frames per second. 4K/30 frames per second video recording is supported via the selfie camera. Slo-mo (240 frames per second), Audio Magic Eraser, Macro Focus Video, Cinematic Pan, Timelapse Stabilisation, Astrophotography Timelapse, Night Sight Timelapse, Optical Video Stabilisation, Fused Video Stabilisation, and Cinematic Pan Video Stabilisation are among the video features.
