Google Messages

Google Messages is developing a new feature that would speed up and simplify the sharing of photos and videos. The functionality was found in an APK breakdown and is currently under development, but it might soon be available to Samsung users as well.

New Update

Google Messages’ latest beta update (provided by Android Authority) includes a shortcut button that speeds up media forwarding. It is comparable to a WhatsApp function.

The latest version will add a shortcut button to Google Messages that will show up next to images or videos. You can now forward messages with a single swipe thanks to this new shortcut.

The shortcut button functions similarly to WhatsApp’s double-arrow button. A list of your most recent conversations will appear when you tap it. You can quickly choose who to send the media to because your most recent exchanges will show up at the top.

Users of Google Messages on Samsung devices will also benefit from this upgrade because it will function flawlessly on all Android phones, including Galaxy models. The goal of this new feature is to update and improve the usability of Google Messages.

Important Information About The New Google Messages Features

Remote Deletion: Users will have the ability to remove communications from both the recipients’ and their own devices. A “Message deleted” placeholder will be used in place of deleted messages.

Time Limit: There will be a 15-minute window for deleting messages with this capability. Users will only be able to remove messages locally on their own devices after this time.

Compatibility: Only handsets running the most recent version of Google Messages will be able to utilize the capability, which depends on upgrades to the RCS Universal Profile. Recipients using out-of-date software might still see deleted messages, and older versions might not enable remote deletion.
