Samsung has confirmed that the Galaxy S25, Galaxy S25+, and Galaxy S25 Ultra would be unveiled at its most recent Galaxy Unpacked launch event later this month.

After sending out invitations at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) 2025, the company has confirmed that the event will take place in San Jose, California on January 22, 2025.

The new models will be heavily reliant on artificial intelligence (AI); Samsung describes this as a “more natural and intuitive Galaxy AI” that would “change the way Galaxy users interact with the world.”

Along with a better camera system, faster charging rates, and Apple-style MagSafe charging—with rumours suggesting Qi2 wireless charging support—the new phones are also anticipated to be powered by the latest Snapdragon 8 Elite processors.

In terms of design, they might have significantly smaller bezels and rounder edges instead of the typical sharp-edged designs.

Additionally, Samsung’s official YouTube channel, the Samsung Newsroom, and the company’s main website will all stream live coverage of the Galaxy Unpacked event.

In the US, it will begin at 1 pm EST, which is equivalent to 11:30 pm IST in India.

Two days following the event, on Friday, January 24, pre-orders for the new phones will go live and run through Tuesday, February 4. This is in spite of the fact that in the past, pre-orders typically opened right after the event.

Additionally, Samsung has begun accepting pre-orders for the Galaxy S25 series in India through the Samsung India Store. The company explained that by pre-reserving the phones for ₹1,999, users may save up to ₹5,000.

Customers may also receive discounts on peripherals like the Galaxy Watch and Galaxy Buds, an upgrade to the next storage level, and web-exclusive colours that are only accessible on Samsung’s website.

On Friday, February 7, 2025, the Galaxy S25 Ultra, Galaxy S25, and Galaxy S25+ will be on sale.
