One of the most significant launches from smartphone makers is the Samsung Galaxy Al. Earlier this year, the South Korean smartphone manufacturer unveiled the new Galaxy Al features alongside the Galaxy S24 series. Only 13 languages were supported by the features, though. Three new languages—Arabic, Indonesian, and Russian—as well as three new dialects—Cantonese, Canadian French, and Australian English—have been added by the corporation in their most recent release.
One of the biggest releases from smartphone manufacturers is the Samsung Galaxy Al. The new Galaxy Al features with the Galaxy S24 series were introduced earlier this year by the South Korean smartphone manufacturer. But just thirteen languages were supported by the features. The business has introduced support for three additional languages—Arabic, Indonesian, and Russian—as well as three additional dialects—Cantonese, Canadian French, and Australian English—in the most recent release.
The company intends to launch four other languages later this year, including traditional Chinese, European Portuguese, Romanian, and Dutch.
Samsung Electronics’ President and Head of Mobile Experience Business, TM Roh, explained, “”We are dedicated to democratising mobile Al for everyone. This year, Galaxy Al’s language expansion will allow even more Galaxy users to communicate beyond language barriers on a scale that is completely unique to Samsung. We’re going to keep pushing the boundaries of mobile Al experiences and technological innovation to give even more users the tools they need to reach their full potential.”
With the OneUl 6.1 update, Galaxy Al features have also been added to the Tab S9 series, Galaxy S23, Galaxy S23 Plus, Galaxy S23 Ultra, Galaxy Z Fold 5, and Galaxy Z Flip 5. By 2025, it is anticipated that the business will launch a subscription model for Galaxy Al features, requiring customers to pay a fee in order to access them.
The Live Translate function, Interpreter, Chat Help, Note Help, Transcript Help, Browsing Help, and more are among the features of Galaxy Al. Language packs including the dialects and languages that Galaxy Al now supports can be downloaded from the Settings app. The packs will be released in April and subsequently.
