First-ever Xiaomi’s Civi phone teaser has been launched in India, till Apple Crush ad takes a dig

A new teaser for Xiaomi’s iPad Pro has been leaked on its official X account, and it obviously mimics the Apple Crush advertisement. Following the launching of the Apple iPad earlier this month, the advertisement got caught in controversy. Eventually, Apple will have to apologize for the advertisement. The commercial featured an industrial crusher smashing a variety of artistic implements and artifacts, including paint cans, a piano, and a camera. The iPad Pro appears at the end of the advertisement. Numerous people in the creative industry felt offended by this. Apple even had to remove the advertisement. Now, Xiaomi is making fun of the same advertisement by saying that no innovation was suppressed.

While it doesn’t reveal much about the new product, the latest Xiaomi teaser previews a brand-new “Cinematic Vision.” Because of THAT, there are rumors circulating that Xiaomi plans to launch its very first Civi phone in India.

These are not particularly recent rumors. For some time now, there has been speculation that the business may introduce the Xiaomi Civi 4 Pro, also known as the Xiaomi 14 Civi, in India. In March of this year, the Mi Code was also seen with the Xiaomi 14 Civi moniker. This essentially indicates that the smartphone will be available in India as part of the Xiaomi 14 series, which already consists of the Xiaomi 14 and Xiaomi 14 Ultra.

What to expect from Xiaomi’s debut Civi smartphone in India:

We might expect the Xiaomi 14 Civi smartphone to have a 6.55-inch AMOLED display with 1.5K resolution if the rumors about it being a rebranded Civi 4 Pro are accurate. The display on the smartphone most likely supports 240Hz touch sampling rate and 120Hz refresh rate. One of the features of the Civi 4 Pro, a display with an astounding 3,000nits of peak brightness, will also be available on the Xiaomi 14 Civi. It is also expected that the smartphone’s display will include Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2 protection and 2160Hz PWM dimming.

The Qualcomm Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 chipset, together with 12GB of LPPDDR5x RAM and up to 512GB of UFS 4.0 storage, will power the Xiaomi 14 Civi mainly.

The Xiaomi 14 Civi, which will be a part of the company’s flagship series in India, will have a 50-megapixel primary camera, continuing the Xiaomi 14 and Xiaomi 14 Ultra’s relationship with Leica Summilux lenses. A 50-megapixel 2X telephoto camera and a 12-megapixel Omnivision OV13B10 ultra-wide sensor will also be included in the 14 Civi’s rear camera. It is expected that the smartphone would have a 32-megapixel camera for selfies.

As with the Xiaomi 14 flagships, the rumored Xiaomi 14 Civi is expected to be powered by a 4,700mAh battery that supports 67W rapid charging. The Xiaomi 14 Civi is anticipated to run Xiaomi HyperOS, which is based on Android 14, just like the Xiaomi 14 and 14 Ultra.

The Xiaomi 14 Civi is expected to have an IR blaster sensor, dual speakers, Hi-Res audio, an in-display fingerprint sensor, and compatibility for Dolby Atmos.
