Director Karan Johar has revealed the cast of his upcoming movie, Dhadak 2, which stars Triptii Dimri and Siddhant Chaturvedi. The news was made more than a year after Karan denied rumors that Dharma Productions, his production firm, was working on Dhadak 2.
Dhadak 2 will star Siddhant and Tripti:
On Monday, Karan shared a motion poster with Siddhant and Triptii Dimri on Instagram. November 22, 2024 is when the Shazia Iqbal-directed movie will be released in theaters. The images in the post show the characters Siddhant and Triptii holding hands.

Karan denied producing Dhadak 2 last year:
When rumors of Karan filming Dhadak 2 alongside Siddhant and Triptii surfaced last year, he denied them. “To put this on the record and for all concerned, we (Dharma Productions) are NOT making a film with the title DHADAK 2 as is being reported in various articles,” he stated on Instagram Stories.
Before then, Dhadak was mainly an intense love story, with two characters fighting society to live together, according to Pinkvilla, citing its source. The director thinks there is potential for a franchise in this area of overcoming all odds in search of love. The director has approved a project that meets the requirements to be a Dhadak sequel after considering a number of ideas.”
