What is a serial entrepreneur ?
Entrepreneurs come up with new ideas and start businesses based on them. A serial entrepreneur on the other hand takes on this challenge repeatedly. Once a particular business is established, they delegate the responsibility of running its operations and move on to other ventures. They may even sell earlier businesses.
One such serial entrepreneur is Byron Cole. He founded his own property estate agency in London. However, that business failed due to credit crunch which left Byron with nothing. He then went on to establishing his own Property Services Businesses which was under the umbrella of the BLC Group and was sold to a high street giant. Post this he invested and co-founded a construction recruitment company known as Quint property solutions turning over several millions.
Byron is also an author and mentor to young and aspiring entrepreneurs. He wrote the number 1 best selling book called ‘Self Made’ and also started a podcast with the same name. The book ‘Self Made’ is a guide to starting a business and gives the reader accessible steps on how to start a business with useful insights and tips from Byron himself and his journey to success. It has been complimented by industry insights like RBS Bank, Natwest and 23‘Self Made’ entrepreneurs that explore what has worked for them.
The ‘self-made’ entrepreneurs that share their insights in the book include Alesha Dixon a Britain’s Got Talent judge and musician, Jay Shetty a Youtuber with over 4 billion views on his channel and the ‘Juicemaster’ Jason Vale who is a best-selling author of 13 books on health, addiction and juicing with over 4 million copies sold. ‘Self Made’ has also been endorsed by the likes of Les brown and Brian Tracy and many others.
With his podcast, Byron aims to share the experiences of self made entrepreneurs that can help his listeners on their entrepreneurship journey. The podcast has been successful in receiving hundreds of thousands of views over the last few years and will continue to motivate those that require some guidance on their journey.
