RACINE COUNTY — A 42-year-old Waterford man blamed for participating in sex and neglecting to advise his partners of his HIV status, showed up in court on Saturday, Jan. 12.

Bond was set at $100,000 for Jason Taufner. He’s charged of six counts of second degree recklessly endangering safety.

A criminal complaint says Taufner neglected to legitimately advise six ladies he engaged in sexual relations with that he was HIV positive.

Taufner has been indicted and sentenced twice previously for a similar wrongdoing.

As a state of his last sentence, Taufner was requested to inform any sexual partner of his medical status.

Some other potential victims are being requested to approach.

Taufner is expected back in court on Jan. 18.
