Due to a number of online leaks and rumors, the Xiaomi 15 series has been in the news for a while. Recently, Xiaomi’s Group Vice President, Wang Xiaoyan, was spotted holding the Xiaomi 15 Pro, offering a real-life glimpse of the device. Now, thanks to a leak from well-known tipster Yogesh Brar, we have more details about the Xiaomi 15’s full specifications.

According to the tipster, the Xiaomi 15 is expected to feature a 6.36-inch flat OLED display with a resolution of 1.2K and a 120Hz refresh rate. Under the hood, it will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite processor, also referred to as the Snapdragon 8 Gen 4, making it likely the first smartphone to launch with this latest chipset from Qualcomm.

In terms of camera capabilities, the Xiaomi 15 is set to boast a triple-lens setup on the rear, with the primary camera featuring a 50MP Omnivision OV50H sensor. This main lens will be complemented by a 50MP ultrawide camera and a 50MP telephoto lens with 3.2x optical zoom. On the front, users can expect a 32MP camera designed for high-quality selfies. As in previous years, Xiaomi has teamed up with Leica to enhance the camera experience, bringing flagship-level photography to this device. Additionally, the phone is rumored to offer 16GB of LPPDR5x RAM and up to 512GB of UFS 4.0 storage.

The Xiaomi 15 is also expected to include a substantial 5500mAh battery, with support for 90W wired charging and 55W wireless charging. The device is said to have an IP68 rating, providing protection against dust and water. Another highlight is that it will likely come equipped with Android 15-based HyperOS 2.0 right out of the box.

Although Xiaomi has not yet revealed an official launch date, reports suggest the Xiaomi 15 could be unveiled shortly after Qualcomm announces its latest flagship processor, which points to a possible release around October 23. Pricing rumors indicate the device could start at CNY 4,599, which is approximately $649. Beyond smartphones, there have also been leaks suggesting Xiaomi is developing a smart ring that will adjust to the user’s finger size, hinting at the company’s broader ambitions in the tech space.
