Android Users Can Now Adjust Media Quality Settings on WhatsApp in new update

A significant update that many Android users will probably find helpful is currently being rolled out by WhatsApp. The ability to modify the default media quality in the settings of the messaging app is a welcome update for users who must constantly choose HD mode while exchanging photographs on WhatsApp for work-related purposes.

The most recent upgrade, which was only available to beta testers, is currently being rolled out to the app’s stable version. Thus, it will be available to all. With this upgrade, you may share videos or photographs on WhatsApp with anyone without having to choose the HD mode. The Media upload quality option, which can be found under Settings > Storage and data, is where you can easily adjust the HD quality.

Sharing higher resolution media by default requires selecting the HD option once in the settings, as the capability is by default set to Standard quality. The update has been distributed to India Today Tech members; those who haven’t seen it yet should give it some time to spread.

Additionally, WhatsApp just released an upgrade that included the ability to share screens with audio. This is great when you need to share anything on your screen while on a call, or when you want to watch a video together. It was possible to share your screen earlier, but now that your loved ones can hear the audio as well, the experience is considerably more engaging and participatory.

There was also a major improvement to video calls. The maximum number of participants in a video conference on WhatsApp has been increased to 32. This means that, regardless of whether you are using a desktop computer or a mobile device, you can now add more friends, family members, or coworkers to a single call. It’s an excellent tool for online meetings, events, and even classes.

Previously, distinguishing speakers during a group call was challenging, but that is no longer an issue. The individual speaking will be automatically highlighted and appear first on your screen when you use the new speaker spotlight function. This guarantees that the speaker receives the attention they deserve and facilitates easy following of conversations.
