Alabama vs. Duke Elite

The Elite Eight of March Madness matchup between Alabama and Duke has been confirmed.

Key Matches to Watch

In the 2018 March Madness schedule, CBS revealed that the No. 2 seed Alabama men’s basketball team would play the No. 1 seed Duke in the Elite Eight on Saturday in Newark, New Jersey, at 7:49 p.m. CT.

Either truTV or TBS will broadcast the match. Allie LaForce, Jim Jackson, and Brian Anderson will be on the call once more.

Alabama’s Journey to the Elite Eight

In the Sweet 16, the Crimson Tide recently defeated BYU, the sixth-seeded team. Duke advanced to the Elite Eight by defeating Arizona, the fourth seed.

For the second straight season and for the third time in its history, Alabama has returned to the Elite Eight. As the Alabama coach with the most NCAA Tournament victories, Nate Oats has achieved unheard-of accomplishment.

Jon Scheyer, meanwhile, is in his third season as Duke’s coach. A season before, the Blue Devils made it to the Elite Eight as well. Scheyer got as far as the second round in his rookie year.

After making it to college basketball’s greatest stage for the first time in program history a season ago, Alabama hopes to return to the Final Four for the second time in a row.
