Following Team India’s victory parade in Mumbai, Virat Kohli was captured on camera heading to London, where his wife Anushka Sharma and their children, Vamika and Akaay, are currently residing. The cricketer expressed eagerness to celebrate Team India’s T20 World Cup triumph with his family, departing for London shortly after participating in the celebrations with the Men in Blue in Mumbai.

Virat flew to London, where Anushka has been staying with their kids. A video surfaced on social media Thursday night showing Virat arriving at Mumbai airport, dressed smartly in an olive green jacket over a plain white tee and matching trousers, as per paparazzi reports.

Earlier in the day, Virat Kohli’s family welcomed him back home at Delhi’s ITC Maurya hotel upon his return from Barbados. Kohli and the Indian team had been stranded on the Caribbean island following their T20 World Cup victory due to Hurricane Beryl. Anushka did not accompany him to Barbados for the intense World Cup final where India defeated South Africa to claim the title.

Virat’s elder sister, Bhawna Kohli Dhingra, shared several photos on Instagram showcasing the cricketer posing with his family, including nieces and nephews. “Celebrating the win. Super proud,” she captioned the pictures, prompting Anushka to respond with a heart emoji in the comments section.

After Team India’s victory, Anushka Sharma penned a heartfelt tribute to the Men in Blue and her husband Virat Kohli. She revealed that their daughter Vamika had expressed concern for Virat, Rohit Sharma, Hardik Pandya, and other team members who were seen crying after the T20 World Cup win.

Anushka took to Instagram, posting pictures from the heartfelt celebrations and revealing, “Our daughter’s main concern was whether all the players had someone to embrace them after she witnessed them crying on TV… Yes, my dear, they were embraced by 1.5 billion people ❤️ What an incredible victory and a truly legendary achievement!! CHAMPIONS – CONGRATULATIONS!!”
