According to a top corporate executive, TVS Motor corporate wants to offer more electric two-wheelers over the duration of the next year in order to serve clients at different pricing points. The Chennai-based startup, which presently sells two e-scooters, also intends to grow its infrastructure for selling electric vehicles in the future.

Additionally, it is creating an electric three-wheeler. “In the upcoming year, we intend to introduce a range of products within the 5 to 25 kilowatt range,” stated K N Radhakrishnan, the CEO and director of TVS Motor Company, during a conference call with analysts.

He stated that the company has increased the production capacity of the electric scooter iQube to 25,000 units per month due to the strong market demand, and they have plans to further improve it in the future. According to Radhakrishnan, TVS currently has over 400 e-scooter touchpoints, and the firm is always adding more. “With the product lineup planned from TVS and continuous improvement in infrastructure, we are confident that we will continue to be a strong player in the EV segment,” he stated.

In response to a question about exports, Radhakrishnan stated that “iQube should be available in many markets in the next two to three quarters.” “We want to take it to many markets, and at some point iQube will also get into Europe,” he continued. We will therefore introduce our EV into every market and have a very clear strategy, plan, and network architecture in place.”

He went on to say that TVS X would be important in both domestic and foreign markets. In response to inquiries concerning the electric bikes, Radhakrishnan stated, “The product is getting ready.”

He went on to say that the corporation is concentrating on the three-wheeler market “because this is one area we need to improve”. According to Radhakrishnan, the company is performing wonderfully in the global market for three-wheelers.
