The budget adventure touring motorcycle segment in India, particularly around the Rs. 2 lakh price range, has limited options. This is precisely where the Yezdi Adventure makes its mark. Today, the legendary Yezdi brand introduced the 2024 version of their adventure tourer, the Yezdi Adventure. Below, we delve into the new features and other specifics of this bike.

Starting with the pricing, the Yezdi Adventure has been competitively priced at Rs. 2.09 lakh for the base model, with the premium variant priced at Rs. 2.2 lakh (ex-showroom). Interestingly, this pricing is lower than the previous model, indicating that the bike has not only received updates but also a price reduction. Pre-bookings for the Yezdi Adventure had already been open for a while.

The motorcycle is powered by a newly developed Alpha2 334cc liquid-cooled engine. This second-generation engine produces 29.6 PS of power and 29.9 Nm of torque. While the power figures remain unchanged, the engine has undergone significant refinements to enhance durability and smoothness, according to Jawa-Yezdi. The engine is paired with a 6-speed transmission.

In terms of aesthetics, the Yezdi Adventure is available in four new color options: Tornado Black, Magnite Maroon, Wolf Grey, and Glacier White. It also features updated decal panels as part of its refreshed look.

Focusing on its off-road capabilities, the Yezdi Adventure comes equipped with a new sump guard and offers a ground clearance of 220 mm, enhancing its suitability for rugged terrains. The updated design also includes integrated jerry can mounts within the main frame, which improves the bike’s balance and maneuverability.

The Yezdi Adventure is well-equipped with a range of features, including an onboard USB charger, Bluetooth connectivity, and turn-by-turn navigation, ensuring a comfortable and connected ride.

Currently, the budget adventure touring segment is still developing in India, but it’s a growing market. The Yezdi Adventure faces competition from models like the Royal Enfield Himalayan, BMW G310 GS, KTM Duke 390 Adventure, KTM Duke 250 Adventure, and Bajaj Dominar. However, these rivals are generally priced higher than the Yezdi Adventure, making it an attractive option for budget-conscious buyers looking for a capable adventure tourer.
