A new Hyundai Creta has crossed its first six month sales cycle with one lakh units sold

Hyundai Motor India Limited (HMIL) announced today that the new Hyundai Creta 2024 has achieved an impressive milestone of one lakh sales within just six months of its launch in January 2024. This rapid success highlights the SUV’s strong market appeal. Since its debut in 2015, the Hyundai Creta has sold over 10 lakh units in India.

Commenting on the achievement, Tarun Garg, COO of Hyundai Motor India Limited, expressed his excitement: “We are elated with the outstanding success of the new Hyundai CRETA 2024. Reaching one lakh sales so quickly underscores the SUV’s popularity in its segment. We are certain that the Hyundai CRETA will continue to establish new benchmarks in the Indian automotive industry, delivering satisfaction and delight to our customers.”

The 2024 Hyundai Creta, designed with Hyundai’s Sensuous Sportiness design philosophy, features a completely revamped exterior and interior compared to its predecessor. The midsize SUV offers a wide range of features, including a Level 2 ADAS safety suite, a panoramic sunroof, adaptive cruise control, and ventilated front seats. Other notable features include a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a digital instrument cluster, connected technology, automatic climate control, rear AC vents, adjustable headrests, six airbags, and a 360-degree camera system.

In terms of performance, the five-seater SUV comes with three engine options: a 1.5L four-cylinder naturally aspirated petrol engine, a 1.5L turbocharged petrol engine, and a 1.5L four-cylinder diesel engine. The naturally aspirated petrol engine produces 115 PS and 144 Nm of torque, while the turbo petrol engine delivers 160 PS and 253 Nm. The diesel engine generates 116 PS and 250 Nm of torque. Transmission choices include a six-speed manual, CVT, six-speed torque converter automatic, and a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic.

The Hyundai Creta is currently priced between Rs. 11 lakh and Rs. 20.15 lakh (ex-showroom). Additionally, its three-row variant, the Alcazar, is expected to receive a significant update in the coming months.
