Spearheaded by the local Senior Citizens Society, an total of 186 inhabitants of Payatas, Quezon City were served in what had all the earmarks of being a post-Valentine’s restorative mission of the PCSO Medical Team on February 15
Headed by medicinal doctor Mabel Vinteres, the mission was held at the Parkwood Hills Subdivision, conveying happiness to the occupants who benifited from the program.
“Napakalaki ng impact nitong medical mission na isinagawa ng PCSO sa aming lugar, lalong-lalo na sa mga kasamahan kong kapwa senior pati na rin ang mga residente dito na tunay na nangangailangan ng atensyong pang-medical, muli po ako’y taos-pusong nagpapasalamat sa Management ng PCSO at sana maulit po itong mission sa amin lugar,” said Leticia Cagalawan, president of the Senior Citizens Society.
The medical mission program gives outreach health care activities in discouraged communities within and outside Metro Manila and adjacent areas including provision of free medicines for those who have less or no access to health services offered by local government units.
