Next week, the OnePlus Ace 5 series will debut in China. The OnePlus Pad and Ace 2 Buds will be launched at the same time as the new Ace series. The Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset is confirmed to power the OnePlus Ace 5, while the Ace 5 Pro will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Extreme Edition. They will come with up to 1TB of storage and 16GB of RAM.

OnePlus Ace 5 Series Launch Date

The OnePlus Ace 5 series will be revealed in China on December 26 at 2:30 p.m. local time (12:00 p.m. IST), according to OnePlus’ announcement on Weibo. It is also reported that the new OnePlus Pad tablet and the OnePlus Buds Ace 2 will be released at the event. They include three rear cameras as well as a hole-punch cutout for a selfie camera on the screen.

Submarine Black, Starry Sky Purple, and White Moon Porcelain are the colourways that have been teased for the OnePlus Ace 5 Pro. It has a Snapdragon 8 Elite Extreme Edition chipset, which according to the AnTuTu benchmarking program, got 32,18,978 points. This might be an overclocked Snapdragon 8 Elite SoC from Qualcomm. The same chipset is used by the Red Magic 10 Pro and Nubia Z70 Ultra series.

Three different colourways of the vanilla OnePlus Ace 5 are also seen, however the marketing names of the hues are not yet public knowledge. The Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset will power it.

In China, OnePlus’ official website is currently accepting pre-orders for the Ace 5 series. Options for RAM and storage are 12GB+256GB, 16GB+256GB, 12GB+512GB, 16GB+512GB, and 16GB+1TB.

A 6.78-inch BOE X2 display with 1.5K resolution is anticipated to be included with the OnePlus Ace 5 and OnePlus Ace 5 Pro. A 50-megapixel 1/1.56-inch sensor with OIS capability, an 8-megapixel secondary camera, and a 2-megapixel third sensor could be part of their triple camera arrangement. The 6,415mAh battery of the vanilla model may enable 80W fast charging. In contrast, the OnePlus Ace 5 Pro is rumoured to have a 6,100mAh battery that supports 100W charging.
