Following the global release of the smartphone on October 8, Samsung has announced that the Galaxy A16 5G would soon be available in India. The South Korean electronics manufacturer hasn’t disclosed the launch schedule, though. Samsung said that the Galaxy A16 5G represents a major leap in mid-range smartphones and has features that define a sector, and it highlighted six years of software support for the smartphone with regard to Android upgrades and security patches.

While the Exynos 1330 chip is available for the Samsung Galaxy A16 5G in certain places, the company has confirmed that the MediaTek chip would power the Indian variant. The three colour possibilities for the smartphone—Gold, Light Green, and Blue Black—have also been confirmed by Samsung.
