The Infinix Zero Flip, the company’s first foldable phone, was introduced to the global market last week by Infinix, a brand well-known for its reasonably priced smartphones. The October 17, 2024, launch date of the flip smartphone in India has officially been announced by the brand.

The 6.9-inch foldable LTPO AMOLED FHD+ display on the Infinix Zero Flip has a refresh rate of 120 Hz, a resolution of 1080 x 2640 pixels, and a peak brightness of 1400 nits. For enhanced visual comfort, 2160Hz PWM dimming is also included.

With a resolution of 1056 x 1066, a refresh rate of 120 Hz, Gorilla Glass Victus 2 protection, and a peak brightness of 1100 nits, the exterior screen is a 3.64-inch AMOLED display.

A 50MP Samsung JN1 autofocus sensor is used for the front camera, and a dual-lens configuration with a 50MP Samsung GN5 primary sensor and a 50MP ultra-wide sensor is used for the rear camera. With DV mode and GoPro mode, both cameras allow 4K 60 frames per second video recording, which makes them perfect for vlogging and creating video content.

The Dimensity 8020 chipset powers the Zero Flip, which also comes with 512GB of UFS 3.1 storage and 8GB of real and virtual RAM. 10W reverse wired charging and 70W rapid charging are supported by the 4720mAh battery.

The device, which runs XOS 14.5 on top of Android 14, has three years’ worth of security patches in addition to two Android OS updates. A side-mounted fingerprint sensor is one among the security features; JBL dual speakers improve sound quality. An x-axis linear motor for improved haptic feedback and support for USB-C, Bluetooth 5.4, NFC, and Wi-Fi 6 are among the other features.

The 8GB+512GB edition of the Infinix Zero Flip costs NGN 1,065,000 (about $645) in Nigeria. There are two colour options available: Blossom Glow and Rock Black. The device is available for $599 internationally.
