The F27 5G smartphone from China has been released in India. The OPPO F27 5G has a circular camera module on the back, with dynamic Halo LED lights on either side that pulse in time with the music. The smartphone also comes equipped with OPPO’s artificial intelligence suite, which includes tools for editing images and generative AI capabilities for text summarisation and generation.

The OPPO F27 5G can now be purchased in India through the OPPO e-store, a few retail locations, and online retailers like Flipkart and Amazon.
A 10% cashback up to Rs 1,800 is one of the introductory offers for cards from a few banks, such as SBI, HDFC Bank, Kotak Bank, Bank of Baroda, and Federal Bank. A free equivalent monthly installment plan is also a possibility, valid for a maximum of six months.
OPPO is providing 180 days of free screen damage protection.
OPPO F27 5G: Design and Build
Like the OPPO F27 Pro Plus, the OPPO F27 5G has a circular camera module on the back, but it also has a dynamic Halo Light LED arrangement that pulses and syncs to music. Users can also personalise the Halo Light to receive updates and notifications.
The smartphone weighs 187g and features a thin, light design, measuring 7.69mm. It has OPPO’s Armour Body protection, which shields internal components from harm using an aluminium framework with exceptional strength.
OPPO F27 5G: AI Features
The Google Gemini-powered AI Toolbox, which was first introduced with the Reno 12 series, is included with the OPPO F27. Productivity tools including AI Writer, which creates email drafts in response to text prompts, AI Speak, which speaks text on screen, and AI Summary, which summaries webpage material, are all available in the AI Toolbox. The F27 also has AI Recording Summary, which transcribing and summarising voice recordings in the built-in recording app into text.
The smartphone comes with tools for altering photos, such as AI Smart Image Matting 2.0 for creating cutouts, AI Eraser 2.0 for erasing undesired items, and the OPPO AI Studio software for creating images based on pre-made templates.
