After the Realme 13 Pro and Pro+ variants were unveiled, attention is now turning to the regular Realme 13 4G, which will go on sale in Indonesia today. Instead of using 5G networks, the Realme 13 4G uses LTE networks, unlike its Pro rivals.
Considering that the Realme 12 4G was only released in July, this most recent model is only a slight improvement. The improved dust resistance rating of IP64 on the Realme 13 4G, as opposed to IP54 on its predecessor, is the main distinction between the two. Other details haven’t altered all that much.
Design and Display
The 6.67-inch OLED display of the Realme 13 4G is made of E4 material and has a 1080p resolution. With a refresh rate of 120Hz and a touch sampling rate of 180Hz, the screen is able to display 98% of the DCI-P3 colour spectrum. With 4,096 brightness levels, the brightness typically approaches 600 nits, peaking at 2,000 nits.
A fingerprint reader that can detect heart rate is built into the display.
Internals and Software
Rather than the Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 seen in the Pro versions, the gadget has a Snapdragon 685 chipset. Realme has included a 7-layer cooling system with a 4,392mm² vapour chamber to control thermal performance.
Software-wise, Realme UI 5.0 runs on top of Android 14. For additional storage, a memory card slot is also present.
Cameras
The device’s back camera system consists of a 50MP primary sensor that uses the Sony LYT-600 image sensor, which has a 26mm focal length and an f/1.88 aperture. OIS is also included for steady video and photo capture. The primary camera is complemented by a depth sensor.
A 16MP selfie camera with an f/2.45 aperture is located on the front. 30 frames per second 1080p video can be recorded by both cameras.
Pricing and Battery
With a 5,000 mAh battery that supports 67W rapid charging, the Realme 13 4G can be fully charged in 47 minutes and reach a 50% charge in 19 minutes.
There are two storage options for the device: an 8 GB RAM model with 128 GB of storage for $185 and an 8 GB RAM model with 256 GB of storage for $200. Pioneer Green and Skyline Blue are among the available colours.
