On July 12, Oppo India is scheduled to introduce its most recent Reno 12 series in India. There will be two models available: the Reno 12 Pro and the standard Reno 12. Artificial intelligence (AI) elements designed to improve user experience are present in both phones. Additionally, Oppo has disclosed the Reno 12 series’ design and verified the colour selections and salient characteristics of both models.

Oppo Reno 12 series: Design and display

The Oppo Reno 12 series will have two handsets with 6.7-inch flexible AMOLED displays with FHD+ 120Hz refresh rate. The “Quad-Micro Curved Infinite View” design for the display, which Oppo says has the fewest side bezels possible to get an astounding 93.5 percent screen-to-body ratio, has also been confirmed by the company.

While the regular Oppo Reno 12 comes in Sunset Peach, Matte Brown, and Astro Silver colour options, the Oppo Reno 12 Pro will only be available in Sunset Gold and Space Brown colour options.

Oppo Reno 12 series: Processor, camera features

With a 50MP OIS sensor, a 50MP telephoto camera with up to 2X optical zoom, and an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens, the Oppo Reno 12 Pro will have three cameras. The primary and ultra-wide-angle lenses are still present on the basic Oppo Reno 12, however a 2MP macro lens takes the place of the telephoto lens.

The Reno 12 Pro will have a 50MP front camera for selfies, while the normal model will have a 32MP camera built in.

The MediaTek Dimensity 7300-Energy SoC, which powers both phones, will enable AI-backed capabilities including AI Eraser 2.0, AI Writer, AI Clear Face, and AI Recording Summary. An 80W SuperVOOC capable 5000mAh battery will be included with the Reno 12 series.
