In July 2024, a variety of smartphone launches are anticipated. The majority of these phones, which will launch in China, are mid-rangers.
There will also be several foldables available at the same time. Samsung will unveil the Galaxy Z Fold and Galaxy Z Flip series’ yearly upgrade. However, Xiaomi is expected to release its fourth-generation foldable together with its first-ever clamshell foldable.
Furthermore, the first smartphone from Nothing’s sub-brand, CMF, has been confirmed for release. After that, Realme will release a legitimate flagship in the distant future.
Upcoming Smartphones in July 2024
1. Red Magic 9S Pro Series
On July 3, the Red Magic 9S Pro series is expected to debut in China. The Red Magic 9 Pro series will get a mid-generation upgrade.
Red Magic 9S Pro and Red Magic 9S Pro Plus are the two gadgets that will be available. While sharing the remaining specifications, the two will mostly differ in terms of battery capacity and charging speed.
Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 Leading Version will power them. All that this chipset is, is a 3.4 GHz overclocked version of the Sanapdragon 8 Gen 3 Samsung Galaxy chipset found inside the Galaxy S24 series.
2. CMF Phone 1
On July 8, CMF, the CMF sub-brand, is hosting an event. At this conference, the company will launch CMF Phone 1, its first smartphone.
A MediaTek Dimensity 7300 SoC will power this gadget. It will be the first phone with this processor in India.
Leaks indicate that the device will include a 6.7-inch FHD+ 120Hz OLED display, a 5,000mAh battery, a 50MP rear camera, a 16MP front camera, and 33W charging capabilities.
3. Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Galaxy Z Flip 6
On July 10, Samsung will host its second Galaxy Unpacked event of 2024. During this conference, the firm is going to reveal the Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Galaxy Z Flip 6.
The company’s most recent foldables will have a few slight improvements over their predecessors. The specifications and design will undergo a few minor adjustments.
The Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 mobile platform will power them both. The Flip 6 will come with a bigger 4,000mAh battery and a new 50MP primary camera.
4. Oppo Reno 12 Series
In July, the Oppo Reno 12 series is expected to debut in India. But as at the time this article was written, the precise date is unknown.
Reno 12 and Reno 12 Pro are the two devices in the global lineup. These items have multiple AI features and are distinct from their Chinese counterparts.
A MediaTek Dimensity 7300 chipset powers the pair, which also has a 6.7-inch FHD+ 120Hz OLED display. They share an identical 8MP ultrawide camera and a 50MP primary camera. On the other hand, the Pro model sports a 50MP selfie camera and a 50MP 2x telephoto lens.
5. iQOO Neo 9S Pro Plus
It is known that the iQOO Neo 9S Pro Plus will debut in China in July. As I write this piece, the date is still in effect.
The phone will be an improved iQOO Neo 9 Pro, as the name would imply. Leaks claim that in addition to being quicker, it will also include a few helpful features.
A Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC, a 6.78-inch 1.5K flat OLED display, a 50MP + 50MP dual back camera arrangement, a 16MP selfie camera, an ultrasonic fingerprint sensor, and a 5,500mAh battery are all expected to be included in the device’s specifications.
6. Realme GT 6
In China, the Realme GT 6 is expected to debut in July. It will be the first official flagship smartphone from the company in a very long time.
The gadget will not be the same as the GT 6 that is sold in international markets. Rather than a Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 SoC, it will contain a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chip.
The phone will have a metal frame, a 1.5K LTPO flat OLED display, a 50MP primary camera, a 6,000mAh battery, and support for 100W charging.
7. Honor 200 Series
In July, the Honour 200 series is anticipated to debut in India. According to reports, the company will launch the Honour 200 and Honour 200 Pro in the area.
These phones have a triple camera system consisting of 50MP (wide), 50MP (2.5x telephoto), and 12MP (ultrawide), with a 6.7-inch 1.5K curved OLED display and a 5,200mAh battery.
The pro variant has a Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 SoC, while the vanilla model is powered by a Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 CPU.
8. Tecno Spark 20 Pro 5G
In July, the Tecno Spark 20 Pro 5G is expected to go on sale in India. This model is the only smartphone in the Spark 20 series with 5G capability.
It has a 6.78-inch FHD+ 120Hz display (LCD) with a MediaTek Dimensity 6080 chipset. It has two stereo speakers, a 108MP primary camera, and an 8MP selfie camera.
It uses a 5,000mAh battery to power itself and allows 33W wired charging.
9. Xiaomi Mix Fold 4 and Xiaomi Mix Flip
Xiaomi will introduce its foldable Mix Fold 4 in July. The Mix Flip, the company’s first clamshell foldable, is rumoured to go along with it.
A Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chip, a 5,000mAh battery, 67W charging capabilities, and a qua-camera system with zoom lenses are expected to be included in the Mix Fold 4. It will have an improved folding mechanism and satellite connectivity.
In contrast, the Xiaomi Mix Flip, like the Honour Magic V Flip, will have an edge-to-edge cover screen. It will have a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC that can handle 67W of charging. It will have a dual camera configuration with 50MP + 60MP (2x telephoto).
10. Redmi K70 Ultra
In July, the Redmi K70 Ultra is anticipated to go on sale alongside Xiaomi’s newest foldable devices. The product is already the subject of official brand teasing.
A MediaTek Dimensity 9300 Plus processor with up to 24GB of RAM and 1TB of storage will power the smartphone. It will have a metal frame and a 1.5K 144Hz OLED display.
